Community Involvement

At Scioto, we are dedicated to setting the NEW STANDARD in cleaning. Through this, we have promised to serve our customers. At Scioto we say that we serve four different types of customers: our clients, our suppliers, our associates and our community.

We truly believe that businesses must play an important role in community development. When Scioto joins a community, we make a commitment to the economic development, civic organizations and to the overall improvement of the community. Such efforts are evidenced in our financial support of many non-profits, youth sports teams and community initiatives.

However, it is not the financial resources, but our human resource investment that makes Scioto proud. Scioto associates are encouraged to become volunteers with several community organizations including the local Chamber of Commerce, Project Parks, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, YMCA, Meals on Wheels, youth sports programs, the Regional Food Banks, adult literacy programs and youth tutoring, to name a few.

Through Scioto's efforts to become the NEW STANDARD, we are convinced that community involvement is the best way to show that we are proud of who we are, what we do and of the communities in which we do business.
